Canadian Board Co Highlights the YachtDock: A 3,000-Pound Inflatable Platform for Boaters

Canadian Board Co is highlighting the POPUP YachtDock as a removable way for boaters to add usable space at water level beside a boat, pontoon or other watercraft.
The 14-foot inflatable platform is designed for swimming, boarding, resting between activities and staging equipment away from the main deck. Current product specifications list dimensions of 14 feet by 7 feet by 8 inches and a maximum weight capacity of 3,000 pounds.
A Water-Level Platform Beside the Boat
Boat decks are designed around movement, seating and controls, not always around easy access to the water. A floating platform alongside the vessel can create a lower surface where swimmers can regroup, where paddleboards or other gear can be organized, and where passengers can move between the water and the boat with more space.
Canadian Board Co positions the YachtDock as a yacht tender dock, swim platform and water-sports staging area. The solid deck gives users a dedicated place for towels, coolers and equipment without taking over seating or walking space on the vessel itself.
Built for a Larger Load
The current YachtDock page lists a 3,000-pound maximum capacity, 67-pound deflated weight and 7 PSI optimal inflation. The platform uses high-strength drop-stitch construction with double-layer, double-wall materials.
The 2026 model also uses a V-Teak PVC traction surface intended to improve grip on the deck when wet. Multiple D-rings around the platform support different tie-off configurations depending on the vessel and conditions.
The package currently includes the inflatable YachtDock, carrying straps, a high-capacity hand pump and a repair kit.
Removable Space Instead of Permanent Deck Area
One of the main differences between an inflatable platform and a permanently mounted swim extension is what happens when the day is over. The YachtDock can be deflated and stored rather than remaining attached to the boat year-round.
That can be useful for owners who want extra water-level space only during swim stops, cottage weekends or longer days at anchor. It also allows the same platform to be transported between a boat, cottage or shoreline setup.
Owners should match the tie-off arrangement to the boat and conditions, follow the product instructions, and account for wind, waves, current and vessel movement before using any floating platform beside a hull.
