QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 19, 2026 /CNW/ -- Following the announcement made last September regarding the merger of the employee benefits teams from Ellipse Insurance, BCH, and Orchestro, the group is proud to unveil today the identity of its new subsidiary dedicated to group insurance and group retirement solutions: Ellipse Collective.
This new entity was created through the combination of complementary areas of expertise that are already generating positive outcomes for both employees and clients. By bringing together the strengths of BCH, Orchestro, and Ellipse Insurance, the new subsidiary strengthens its ability to provide comprehensive and integrated support in the areas of employee benefits and group retirement solutions.
"This merger not only allows us to create new synergies between our areas of expertise, but also to offer an even stronger 360-degree service offering through close collaboration among all our teams," said Jean-Simon St-Laurent, Vice President of the new subsidiary.
A Positioning Focused on Client Needs
Before settling on a name, the leadership team undertook a strategic reflection process to define the vision, positioning, and personality of the new subsidiary. This process led to a clear vision: that of a true one-stop shop for employee benefits and group retirement solutions. At the heart of this straightforward approach are the needs of clients, their employees, and their families.
Collaboration is also a core value of Ellipse Collective. The talents and expertise of every team member are brought into each mandate to deliver the best possible solutions to the organizations it serves.
An Identity That Reflects the Strength of the Collective
The name Ellipse Collective emerged naturally from this reflection process.
More than just a name, it embodies the combined expertise, talent, and experience that make up this new team. "The name reflects a way of working based on cooperation, knowledge sharing, and the pursuit of solutions adapted to each client's reality. It is a way of working that is unique to Ellipse Collective," said Patrice Jean, President of Ellipse Assurances, proudly.
Next Steps
Clients of Ellipse Collective will receive an official communication on October 19. The transition to the new visual identity and work tools will be carried out gradually over the coming weeks, while a brand-new website will be launched in December.
