SAINT-EUSTACHE, QC, Oct. 21, 2026 /CNW/ -- To meet growing demand on its busiest routes while beginning the modernization of its high-capacity vehicle fleet, Halifax Transit has awarded Nova Bus a contract for 18 Nova LFS Artic buses. The new vehicles will gradually replace its first-generation articulated buses, ensuring a smooth transition to current standards of comfort and performance.

An Enduring Partnership Supporting an Evolving Transit Network
This new chapter strengthens the longstanding partnership between Nova Bus and Halifax Transit. Since 2010, Nova Bus has delivered more than 320 buses to the municipality, closely supporting the various stages of its transit network modernization. This includes the deployment of proven diesel models and articulated buses, as well as the recent delivery of 60 fully electric Nova LFSe+ buses.
