Infotech, previously known as Info-Tech Research Group, introduces CIO Analytics globally, a new API-driven advisory model that combines operational IT data with the company's research, benchmarks, AI-assisted services, and analyst expertise. Zluri, the first acquisition in Infotech's 30-year history, adds application discovery and identity governance and administration capabilities, further accelerating Infotech's evolution beyond traditional research and advisory as the organization continues its hypergrowth trajectory.
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 14, 2026 /CNW/ -- Infotech today announced the global launch of its API-driven advisory platform for IT leaders, CIO Analytics, as well as the completion of its acquisition of Zluri, a leading SaaS management and identity governance and administration provider. Together, the launch and acquisition signal a major step in expanding the company's research and advisory model toward a complete system CIOs use to understand performance, manage risk and spend, and improve execution across IT.

Infotech has more than quadrupled in size over the past seven years, growing over 340 percent, and has now surpassed over 300 million USD in annual revenue. The company's scale, independent operating model, and continued investment in research, technology, and advisory capabilities position it for its next phase of continued hypergrowth as the research and advisory market evolves.
As part of the announcement, the organization has also introduced a new name and public identity, shifting from Info-Tech Research Group to Infotech. The move marks its evolution to a more connected, technology-enabled advisory offering. Infotech is how the brand will be referenced moving forward.
The CIO Analytics platform was introduced in beta at Info-Tech LIVE 2026 in Las Vegas, the US stop of the company's annual conference series for IT leaders, where discussions explored how AI is changing the CIO role. Registration for the beta program significantly exceeded its initial user target, reflecting strong early interest from IT leaders.
Now available across all markets, CIO Analytics launches with three initial modules: Service Desk Analytics, Application Discovery, and Identity Governance and Administration. Infotech plans to expand CIO Analytics with additional modules to support CIOs and their teams across more areas of IT.
The platform also powers AI-Assisted Advisory Services, which combine Infotech's research, frameworks, and analyst expertise with AI to help IT leaders create real, operational deliverables tailored to their organizations that are ready to deploy. Analysts remain responsible for the quality of the finished work, ensuring a human is always in the loop.
With AI commoditizing access to research and insights, Infotech is addressing a gap in the advisory market between broadly available information and guidance tailored to each organization's context. CIO Analytics brings real-time operational data into the advisory process, providing a current view of the systems, resources, and business priorities that shape where IT leaders need to focus and how they execute.
"AI and analytics are nothing without the right data, and the right data is hard to act on without benchmarks and industry-leading insight that show what 'good' looks like. This is especially true for IT," says Infotech's Chief Executive Officer, Tom Zehren. "That's the value CIO Analytics brings to our members. Early customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive as it connects their own data with our research, benchmarks, and analysts without delay. Infotech's new value proposition enables organizations to make better informed decisions faster. Adding Zluri's expertise and capabilities helps us bring that visibility to more areas of IT."
Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari, and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri helps organizations discover, manage, and govern SaaS applications, identities, access, usage, and software spending across growing application portfolios. As an Infotech company, Zluri will continue serving customers while contributing capabilities to the CIO Analytics platform, including Application Discovery and Identity Governance and Administration.
"The next era of IT won't be won by software or by legacy advisory alone. It will be won by bringing them together. From our first conversations with Infotech, it was clear this was the right home for Zluri. We share the same values and ambition for what we can build for CIOs and their teams," says Ritish Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of Zluri. "Zluri gives leaders real-time control over identities and access across increasingly complex environments, and Infotech gives them the insight to know where to focus and how to act with that information. We're proud to be part of the operating system IT leaders need for the AI era."
Through API connections, the platform reduces the manual discovery work that often slows the advisory process, so Infotech analysts can spend more time on interpretation, prioritization, and action planning for members. Recommendations draw on current data rather than static inputs, extending advisory beyond individual engagements into an ongoing, data-connected model.
"CIO Analytics is designed to keep advisory connected to the tools IT teams rely on every day," says Liam Nediger, Chief Technology Officer at Infotech and executive lead for CIO Analytics. "Service Desk Analytics, Application Discovery, and Identity Governance and Administration are the first examples of that approach. The next wave of modules will extend the same model into other areas where CIOs need a clearer basis for setting priorities, managing risk, and achieving measurable results."
These announcements build on Infotech's ongoing investment in outcomes-focused advisory, recently added depth across its leadership bench, and inherent organizational agility. Together, these strengths allow Infotech to adapt quickly and innovate around members' emerging priorities.
"Over the past seven years, Infotech has more than quadrupled in size and has surpassed $300 million in annual revenue because we have always stayed close to our core value proposition, which is delivering unparalleled member value," says Infotech Chairman Joel McLean, who founded the company in 1997. "The launch of API-driven advisory through CIO Analytics, alongside the acquisition of Zluri, reflects where we believe the market is going, toward advice grounded in an organization's own operating data, not solely in static inputs or generalized best practices. We're combining operational data, AI, and human expertise to inform the decisions IT leaders need to make now. And personally, I love what the Zluri team has built. I'm excited to welcome them to Infotech. As organizations enter and compete in the AI era, IT leaders need advice the legacy advisory firms simply are not willing or able to provide."
Solomon Partners served as financial advisor to Infotech on the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
