OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 9, 2026 /CNW/ -- Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will release its latest Housing Supply Report (HSR) on Thursday, September 10 at 10:00 AM ET. 

The latest HSR will provide an updated estimate of how much housing needs to be built in Canada over the next ten years to restore affordability to 2019 levels.

The HSR covers the following key census metropolitan areas (CMAs):

• Toronto
• Vancouver
• Montreal
• Calgary
• Edmonton
• Ottawa
• Halifax
