The roundtable will bring together diverse community sport and para-sport organizations

MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 12, 2026 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, the Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport), will participate in a community sport roundtable alongside Iqwinder Gaheer, Member of Parliament (Mississauga–Malton).

The roundtable will bring together diverse community sport and para-sport organizations to discuss what is working in community sport, the barriers that remain, and how recent investments announced in the Spring Economic Update 2026 can help expand access to sport and recreation opportunities for Canadians.
