The committee brings together accomplished leaders representing a broad range of perspectives and expertise from across Ontario's capital markets, including asset management, private equity, investment banking, public issuers, market infrastructure, legal and regulatory affairs, and emerging areas of innovation. CMAC will be co-chaired by Susan Greenglass, Executive Vice President, Regulatory Operations, and Naizam Kanji, Executive Vice President, Strategic Regulation.

"The Capital Markets Advisory Committee provides an important forum for dialogue with experienced market participants and industry leaders," said Susan Greenglass, Co-Chair of CMAC. "Their perspectives will help inform our regulatory approach as Ontario's capital markets continue to evolve and remain responsive to emerging risks, opportunities and investor needs."

"Ontario's capital markets are operating in an increasingly dynamic and competitive global environment," said Naizam Kanji, Co-Chair of CMAC. "The expertise of CMAC members will help us identify long-term trends, support innovation and ensure Ontario remains a leading destination for investment and capital formation."

The inaugural members of CMAC were selected through a competitive application process that attracted strong interest from across Ontario's capital markets. A list of committee members is available on the OSC website. CMAC members will serve for a one-year term during the pilot period. The OSC thanks all applicants for their interest in supporting this new advisory forum.
